  Mandrake the Magician is a syndicated newspaper comic strip, created by Lee Falk 

before he created The Phantom. Mandrake began publication on June 11, 1934. 

Phil Davis soon took over as the strip's illustrator, while Falk continued to script. 

The strip was distributed by King Features Syndicate...

The Hand of Fate

was recurring, often one-page,

filler comic strip feature in the  British

boys' weekly  magazine Boys’ World,

published by Odhams Press in the 1960s.

The strip ran from 1963-01-24 to 1964-10-03 almost the entire 

Boys' World v1 & v2 Magazine, except issues v1 41 & v2 27. 

It continued in Boys' World Annuals 1964, 1965 and 1966
