Halloween Night

 Don't get out tonight. For God’s sake don't get out.

It's Halloween tonight, and others will be out. Others you wouldn't like to see.

So please don't.

If you're brave enough, open the pages of Nocturnals and find out what strange 

things are happening in Pacific City, a place we strongly advise against any 

tourism. While we're on the subject of advice, don't go to the Usher house either, 

it really has not a good reputation.

If you have children, avoid enrolling them in Blackwood College, there's 

really something there to disturb them. In fact, as a general rule, be wary 

of places where they teach anything other than traditional sciences, 

such as the occult. There are plenty of stories about this, and Rob Bailey 

could tell you a thing or two.

Ignoring this advice could lead you to do penance like poor Mrs. Winchester, 

who lived her whole life surrounded by noisy construction work. You know 

how it is with construction work: you know when it starts, but you 

don't know when it will end.

Remember that despite the leprechauns, who are not always well-intentioned, 

despite the many ghosts that haunt the corridors of our castles, presbyteries, 

and houses, despite Nessie, Jack the Ripper, and all the ferocious beasts 

that roam the moors at nightfall, we are much safer in Great Britain!
