NICK SMITH, the famous international inside-left, had just been
transferred from his old club, Stonebury Arsenal,to Chidsea.
Chidsea were in the doldrums as usual. In the previous four
seasons,they had just missed relegation from the First Division
and, once more, they were in the danger zone. They had some fine
players but had never been able to click as a team. Nick had been
brought fo the club to see if he could inject some life into
the dispirited team.

Greetings, many thanks for this blog and their inputs, in this case, I think that the drawner was another Ripoll, not Miguel, but Edmundo Fernández Ripoll "Edmond"

ReplyDeleteThe artist is not Edmond..., is a british - Years ago I set out to discover the identity of this cartoonist and after much searching I managed to find out his name; he was a British author, but I did not save the details.
