During the middle ages, and in the absence of

King Richard, Prince John Was

seeking to overthrow

loyal followers of the crown,

such as Sir Guy de Travers and

his gallant people of Stowford

—who included young “red”

scarlet and owen the bowman.

New year's eve was a time of joy, however,

and most of the villagers made merry...
